Current Medical Management of Hereditary Angioedema: Follow-up Survey of US Physicians

The latest in Churchill’s ongoing collaboration with HAE expert clinicians has been published in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. “Current Medical Management of Hereditary Angioedema: Follow-up Survey of US Physicians” describes the results of more than 15 years of survey data gathered from allergy and immunology clinicians across the US. This paper highlights an encouraging trend toward higher rates of patient satisfaction and fewer concerns over adverse side effects among patients with HAE. With fewer individuals ending up in the emergency room during acute attacks, and home treatment quickly becoming the norm, scientific advancements over the past decade have dramatically improved the quality of life for those with HAE.
